It has been nothing less than an eventful year for Pursehouse Rural
It has been nothing less than a successful year of growth for Pursehouse Rural. With the addition of eight new branches, multiple major company events, and two editions of Your Rural Success magazine, the year has fallen nothing short of exciting. As a company, we have been committed to sustaining the standards of our visions, values, and purpose and will continue to do so.
Pursehouse Rural Takes the Green For Local Communities
This year, Pursehouse Rural Quirindi and Agracom held their annual charity golf day. Quirindi welcomed 98 players to the green in support of the local schools across the Liverpool Plains. The team from the Quirindi branch and Agracom cooked a delicious BBQ lunch for all the players to keep them well-fed and in high spirits throughout the day. The annual Golf Charity Day has now raised over $200,000 in funds since the very first golf day in 2006.
Meanwhile, Pursehouse Rural Clifton held their first Charity Golf Day at the Clifton Golf Course. Around 70 golfers took the green on Thursday 18th July to raise funds for the Clifton Community Hospital. Despite the chilly weather, the two-person ambrose competition got underway. The Charity Golf Day surpassed all expectations and raised over $10,000 for the Clifton Community Health Hospital.

Both Quirindi and Clifton branches are overwhelmed by the success and support of the golf days from participants and suppliers. We would like to give thanks to each and every one who helped make these events possible to support great causes within the local communities.

Pursehouse Rural Attends AgQuip 2024
Usually occurring in August of each year is AgQuip, Australia’s largest agricultural field day event. Over three jam-packed days located just west of Gunnedah, a wide variety of rural traders flock to showcase their business and the latest products in the industry. Located on-site, customers were welcomed to stop by and catch up with our team. Also on-site over the three days were our key suppliers Virbac, AGF Seeds, Nufarm, Syngenta, Wayback Feeds, Pacific Seeds, and Mort & Co. We were so pleased with the success of the event and support of our customers, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone back there next year!

Pursehouse Rural Welcomes Eight New Branches
This year, the company welcomed an additional 8 branches to the company. Located in key agricultural areas, these branches include Deepwater, Mingoola, Tenterfield, Inglewood, Stanthorpe, Texas, Tully, and Innisfail. The branches are now part of a 28-branch network spread across Northern New South Wales, Queensland, and Northern Queensland. Pursehouse Rural endeavours to offer continued excellent service and advice to the new and existing customers to the Deepwater, Mingoola, Tenterfield, Inglewood, Stanthorpe, Texas, Tully, and Innisfail branches. We would like to once again welcome these customers and teams of existing Wilshire & Co, GF Rural, and Frank Lowe & Sons branches.
Your Rural Success Magazine
Over April and October, the company released edition seven and edition eight of Your Rural Success magazine. These editions cover a whopping nine customer success stories from cropping, livestock, agricultural innovation, and more. Each edition showcases a collection of seasonal-based and industry news delivered in a timely manner for our customers.
We look forward to what customer success stories we will come across in the new year.

Supporting the Next Generation Students of Ag
Pursehouse Rural is pleased to be of support to young individuals within the agricultural industry. Pursehouse Rural in association with Nufarm, has arranged a long-standing scholarship opportunity fund offered to students at the University of New England for students in agriculturally based studies. This fund was established in 2020 to prepare and support the next generation of young students in agriculture. In addition to the scholarship opportunity, Pursehouse Rural has supported UNE Farming Futures Careers Day, Future Farmers Network On Tap event in Toowoomba, and the University of Queensland Ag Society Gatton Campus. Pursehouse Rural is always looking to support students to achieve their goals and grow for success within the agricultural industry.

Local's Supporting Local's
This year at AgQuip, Pursehouse Rural chose to support the local Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises. Funds were raised through recycling cans used on site and all gold coin donations for our branded cattle encouragement sticks. Raising just over $380 for the cattle encouragement sticks plus additional funds from the recycled cans, we are so pleased to support such a great local initiative.

In addition to the branches supporting local events and communities, a majority of branches held branch-based seasonal events to equip the local growers with information as they headed into the season.

Pursehouse Rural would like to thank all our wonderful customers for their support through 2024. We wish everyone a merry Christmas and safe and happy New Year!
